Cindy Urbancic, MBA, BSN, RN, is Senior Director of Global Patient Services (GPS) and is a senior member of Cleveland Clinic’s International Operations since 2008. Cindy joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2008 as co-Project Director for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) and worked closely with the executive teams in Abu Dhabi at both Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and CCAD in the areas of nursing, medical staff, integration and patient experience. She also supported a variety of international consulting and development opportunities. In her current role, Cindy oversees the department responsible for facilitating and serving international patients and families coming to the Cleveland Clinic for their medical care and is a steering committee member of Cleveland Clinic’s annual Patient Experience Summit.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Cindy spent 14 years as a health care consultant managing a variety of academic medical centers and hospital clients throughout the United States with Ernst and Young and Accenture. Her 15 years of clinical and administrative experience was at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
Cindy holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (with honors) from Baldwin Wallace University and Bachelors of Science of Nursing (with honors) from the University of Cincinnati. She has presented domestically and internationally and has several publications in the areas of project management, health care and case management. She is an Emeritus Board of Trustee’s member of a Children’s Hospital.
