Rohit is the Senior Director & Chief Growth Officer at Max Healthcare, a joint venture between Max India and Life Healthcare, South Africa. He is responsible for expansion of the hospital business, entering new business segments, digital business models, strategy and M&A. He led two major M&A transactions – acquisition of Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital and Operating rights for Saket City Hospital – the latter having the potential of creating India’s largest private healthcare complex. Rohit is responsible for development of this complex. He is also leading the incubation of three new business lines within Max Healthcare – tech enabled home care, retail pathology and standalone cancer care centres.


In addition, the business heads for Oncology, Diabetes and Diagnostics verticals report into Rohit – these are strategic growth areas for the organization.


Rohit serves on the board of Antara Senior Living, Max One Distribution and Crosslay Remedies. Prior to this role in Max Healthcare, Rohit was the Group Head for Strategy for the Max India group and part of the group leadership team reporting to the Managing Director.


Rohit was a consultant with McKinsey&Company for close to a decade. Since joining the firm in 2000, Rohit worked across in six countries including Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.


Rohit holds a PGD from Indian School of Business where he was ranked in the top 5 students in the batch and was the recipient of the Young Leader Award for all round leadership. In addition to the PGD he is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, USA). He is also a visiting faculty at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.


Rohit is a thought leader in the healthcare and digital space and a regular speaker at marquee conferences – Mint Healthcare Conclave, FICCI, ISB Healthcare to name a few.
