About NABH

National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI), set up to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare organizations. NABH has been established with the objective of enhancing health system & promoting continuous quality improvement and patient safety. The board while being supported by all stakeholders, including industry, consumers, government, has full functional autonomy in its operation.

NABH provides accreditation to hospitals in a non-discriminatory manner regardless of their ownership, size and degree of independence.

International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) has accredited “Standards for Hospitals”, 4th Edition, 2015 under its International Accreditation Programme for a cycle of 4 years (April 2016 to March 2020). The approval of ISQua authenticates that NABH standards are in consonance with the global benchmarks set by ISQua. The hospitals accredited by NABH have international recognition. This will provide boost to medical tourism.

Vision: To be apex national healthcare accreditation and quality improvement body, functioning at par with global benchmarks.

Mission: To operate accreditation and allied programs in collaboration with stakeholders focusing on patient safety and quality of healthcare based upon national/international standards, through process of self and external evaluation

About IHMA

Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association is the pioneer organisation of elite qualified homoeopaths of India with its presence along the length and breadth of the country and overseas. IHMA has been relentless in its efforts to uplift the quality of Indian Homoeopathy and its practitioners.

OBJECTIVES

Indian Homoeopathic Research Centre (IHRC)

The research wing of IHMA.  Its objectives are to conduct and promote research in Homoeopathic system of Medicine by formulating parameters of, supporting and conducting active research in homoeopathy. Also aim to fund worthwhile research projects with the help of like minded supporting groups and persons.

IHMA School of Homoeopathy

Proposes a comprehensive package imparting meticulous personnel training for cultivating the necessary skills which are essential for effective Homoeopathic practice.

About IMA

Indian Medical Association (IMA) is a pan-India voluntary organization of doctors practicing modern system of medicine. It has a membership of 2,60,000 doctors spread over 30 State Branches and 1765 local branches in almost all the districts of India.

IMA has complimented many Government Programmes like Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme, Anemia Free India, Leprosy Eradication, Child Survival and reduction of Infant Mortalities and has provided all assistance and expertise to ensure making healthcare delivery accessible, affordable, qualitative and timely for all. IMA branches run voluntary blood banks collecting and distributing nearly 1 lakh units, bio-medical waste disposal units, palliative care units for cancer patients, free immunization centres and Reproductive & Child Health (RCH) Centers.

Besides imparting continuous training to its members in meeting various newer health challenges, IMA also articulates its views on policy matters and legislations pertaining to health.

Besides coordination with agencies and authorities at the national level, IMA coordinates with various International agencies to carry out various health related activities. IMA conducts such activities with International health related agencies like WHO, UNFPA, GFATM and Unicef etc. Our various projects have been successfully executed by us yielding desired results.

IMA has been instrumental in many Public related international health projects like Child Sexual Abuse, “No to Sex Selection”, Medical examination of victims of Rape, implementation of RNTCP project & Contraceptive Updates etc.

About AHPI

Association of Healthcare Providers (India) represents the vast majority of healthcare providers in India. It is registered under Indian Society Registration ACT- 1860 as “not for profit” organization. It educates to its members and at the same time, advocates with the government, regulatory bodies and other stake holders on issues, which have bearing on enabling its member organizations in delivering of Universal Healthcare Services to the community at large.

The Association of Healthcare Providers (India)’s vision is to have healthy India, encompassing society,   community and common man at grass root.

AHPI works with all stake holders in establishing a national system where, common man can avail assured universal access to basic health services. The Federation facilitates its members and partnering bodies, in carrying out healthcare improvements to serve the community effectively and efficiently.

AHPI undertakes Advocacy for Healthcare reforms, infrastructural issues, taxation and tariff issues, health insurance concerning matters and any other difficulties face by the healthcare organizations or community for healthcare delivery or obtaining healthcare services with equity. The AHPI Institute of Healthcare Quality develops and conduct various healthcare management courses focusing on patient safety and healthcare quality, where as AHPI Healthcare Certification Centre an another subsidiary body of AHPI develops standards for different categories of healthcare establishments, certification of compliance of various standards by the healthcare agencies and customized certified training programs and training (QMS and Healthcare managerial training) for the industry. AHPI also provides information assistance to its member organization on various problematic issues face by the client members.

AHPI in a short period of time has become the esteemed organization in the healthcare industry comprising of about 10000 hospitals as its members.
